Frequently Asked Questions

What types of aircraft hangar storage space are available at Range Regional Airport?
The airport provides both long-term leasing for individual T-Hangars and short-term transient hangar rentals, subject to current availability.
What are the specific door and building dimensions for the T-Hangars?
T-Hangars are structured into three distinct building tiers: Building H features 42'6" door clearance width with a 12' door height. Building I offers 43'6" width with a 12' door height. Building J accommodates larger aircraft with a 44'6" width and a 13'6" door height clearance.
What utilities and amenities are included inside the leased hangars?
Amenities vary depending on the hangar type. T-hangars include electricity, internal and external lighting, and access-controlled security. They do not have water, natural gas, or private restrooms; however, an ADA-accessible portable restroom is available nearby from spring to fall. “Big Box” hangars include electricity, gas heat, internal and external lighting, and restroom facilities.
How are transient or short-term hangar space rentals billed?

Transient hangar rentals require a one-day minimum stay and are not available on an hourly basis. Rates are based on the size of the aircraft and are competitively priced. For current pricing, availability, and to reserve transient hangar space, please contact Hibbing Fueling directly.

Who should be contacted to check current hangar availability or arrange a lease?
