The project’s construction cost, which includes engineering and administration expenses, is estimated at $4.3 Million. The project is funded 100% through the federal program requiring no local match. The project was originally planned for 2011 but was expedited to meet the federal program requirements.

Phase 2 (Green) is scheduled June 1st – June 30th which will prepare Taxiway "C" as a temporary runway while Runway 13/31 is closed.
Phase 3 (Blue) is scheduled July 1st – August 25th. This phase will mill and overlay Runway 13/31 and the southern half of Runway 4/22.
Phase 3 also includes sawing pavement joints, sealing the joints and saw cutting runway grooves into the pavement providing water runoff to enhance safety. This will occur during evening hours and complete the project no later than September 30th.
The engineering firms involved are Short, Elliot, Hendrickson (SEH) and BARR Engineering. The prime contractor is Northland Constructors.
